Digital multimedia interactive solution refers to the application of advanced computer sensing technology and projection display technology to create a fantastic and dynamic interactive experience. The current mainstream interactive projection games are generally implemented through “LiDAR + TUIO + Unity”. The hardware mainly uses a 2D single-line rotating scanning interactive LiDAR, and the LiDAR touch uses TOF LiDAR capture technology, which is an invisible multi-touch wall in the actual interactive experience and is generally parallel to the effect display screen. Unlike traditional touch devices that rely on touch surfaces, users’ interaction experience is more natural and comfortable. The data scanned by the LiDAR detection is transmitted to Unity, achieving the interactive effect.
TUIO (protocol interface) allows abstract descriptions such as the state of touch and contact objects to be transmitted on the interactive surface. It can be simply understood as a diplomatic lingua franca. TUIO is used for communication between the radar and Unity. In short, in large-screen interaction, interactive LiDAR is responsible for scanning data, TUIO is responsible for translating it into a language that Unity can understand, and then Unity implements interaction.
This solution uses PoE Interactive LiDAR as the core position detection sensor, which can connect Unity3d, TUIO, and C# SDK. It has functions such as network transmission, hot plug, heartbeat, and automatic reconnection, and can help the integrated system convert monitoring points into coordinate data through the detection area of the radar, thereby realizing various mouse events, and then achieving wall projection interaction, floor projection interaction, glass walkways, scenic spots, children’s entertainment interactions, billiards and other interactive entertainment activities.
